THIS IS MAKING ME INSANE because the most damning story is one my friend is still on the fence about telling because she doesn't know if she wants to insert herself into this. What I can say is I saw Andy purposefully make someone experience gender dysmorphia and then when she said something about it pretend he hadn't been talking to the person in question. It was sick.

Also, the first night he stayed with me I wanted to go to my local gay bar (I'm queer and hang out there quite a bit). He hemmed and hawed and made a whole to do about how gay men had been HORRIBLE to him for years and told him he was gay even though he WASN'T and he NEVER HAD BEEN AND NEVER WILL BE but gay men INSIST he is and they all bully him and are SO mean to him and bla bla bla etc more stereotypical homophobic fear. In the end he decided to come with us and had great conversations with my male gay friends and wouldn't stop gushing about how Pasadena gay men are different than West Hollywood gay men. Heavy eye roll.

Ugh. That couldn't have been a clearer invitation for honesty. Of course he ignored it.

You’ll have seen that a recurring topic here is Andy’s involvement in fandom, which he’s constantly saying he’s ‘burned to the ground’ but somehow, strangely, always seems to end up back in, and his attempts to get celebrities to notice him. I was wondering if you could say a bit more about his responses to the famous people in your circle and especially his attempts to get introduced to the CR people? Also (and I appreciate you might not want to say more about this due to the privacy of the person/people involved) what he was like as an ‘employee’ for the person he was doing the ad hoc work for and whether he tried to inappropriately use that as another way to get access to actors?

That’s interesting he’s lying about his age. Andy always wants to be a prodigy, he obviously doesn’t feel like mid-thirties and still starting out is an image that suits him.

Yeah, that stood out to me too. It's just so weird and nonsensical - a person in their mid-thirties can't pass for an ingenue in their early twenties, wtf. Does he really think everyone is that gullible or what? Doesn't he realise pretending to be ten+ years younger just makes him look creepy and desperate?

Would your friends be willing to share their stories if their identities were kept secret? Like Friend A, Friend Q etc? I don't think anyone here is familiar with your social/friend group to be able to identify one person from another, or is it more the case that Andy would be able to identify them from the specific instances they'd be able to describe and they don't want Andy sending his Defence Squad after them?

The lying about his age is so weird because I posted on the previous page about how I thought for the first time Andy has started to look slightly older than his age of 34, only to find he was claiming to be in his early/mid 20s! Is this because pre-T he was always being mistaken for a teenage boy so he logiced "On T, I must only look a few years older?"

The first thing that strikes me is when laying the groundwork with you for a place to stay is that he made some art of you so to make you well-disposed and indebted to him from the off. He does this kind of thing all the time: make large, overfamiliar gestures, especially using his art, that seem kind on the surface but are all about manipulating a sense of obligation from you.
