Gloves Off

Please use this post for discussion of those contentious, murky, triggering issues too complex to discuss/moderate on the main post.

Note that this post is NOT a free-for-all and will still be modded for slurs, namecalling, doxxing and trolling. But fair warning that it will not be moderated for discussion of issues some find triggering (trans issues, mental illness, etc.) and that if you choose to participate here, you do so at your own risk.

I was on T for a year and a half, and I'm severely mentally ill. It didn't really make much difference one way or another; in fact, the only emotional effects it had on me at all was making it physically difficult to cry (when my dose was too high) and making me rage out (when it was too low). And both problems were easily solved because I was on a daily gel dose; adjust my dose the next morning, and ta-da! Sanity reasserted!

Other trans guys I know swear it made their moods MORE stable. As for me, it made so little difference in the scheme of things that it made me really pissy at all the guys claiming hormones make them douchey. THEN CHANGE YOUR DOSE YOU SHITHEEL.
