Gloves Off

Please use this post for discussion of those contentious, murky, triggering issues too complex to discuss/moderate on the main post.

Note that this post is NOT a free-for-all and will still be modded for slurs, namecalling, doxxing and trolling. But fair warning that it will not be moderated for discussion of issues some find triggering (trans issues, mental illness, etc.) and that if you choose to participate here, you do so at your own risk.

what DO we know?

What do we know for a fact was a lie about Brittany?

While this is in the gloves off post let me clarify that I'm not looking to speculate about her or other parts of her life. People can feel free to start those threads of they want. I'm specifically interested in getting a list in one place of the lies he's told that we know of.

Surprisingly few things are 100% confirmed to be falsehoods.

Some things that are:

-Brittany always "saw through" Andy's mental illness (even if she did at a later point -- which there's no proof of -- she initially believed they were fighting shaman wizards together)

-Brittany made "brilliant" real estate deals for her husband (public records confirm they bought one second house, then took out some home equity, then the value of the second home dropped, which led to financial problems for them)

-Brittany was seeking money she earned for running her husband's business for him (court records show someone, probably Brittany AND Andy, drew up a list of all the things Brittany did as Jason Eisenberg's romantic partner, like cooking, cleaning and massages, and attached an hourly wage to them)

Things that are strongly suggested to be lies, off the top of my head:

-Brittany was incredibly invested in Andy's wrock project (the many threads of facebook wrock organizing show exactly zero involvement from her)

-The trip to New Zealand was Brittany's dream, not Andy's (a facebook post suggests Brittany's angle was more "I don't want to break a promise to Andy.")

More confirmed lies:

-Brittany "married the wealthy older man whom her parents wanted for her and whom she was told would help take care of her 8 siblings after her father had walked out on them." - While Brittany may have begun her relationship with J. Eisenberg for these reasons, she was never legally married to him.

-Brittany made Andy understand the hardships of LGBT relationships for the first time, because her family viewed their relationship was "weird". - Andy previously identified as a bisexual female and as a lesbian female, and had relationships with women while identifying as such.

More things I strongly suspect as lies:

-Andy claims his therapist told him to relive/reblog the murder on an anniversary, in real time.
