I think the mistake we all make when questioning andy's motives is we assume he thinks and feels like we do. he doesn't. as KQ has said numerous times, his ultimate objective is power and control. he has identified abusive tactics as a way to achieve this over others, and therefore that is what he does. I do absolutely believe andy has a robust sadistic streak that means he gets pleasure out of hurting people - but more honestly, he just doesn't give enough of a fuck about other people to care about his impacts on them, so long as he gets what he wants - power and control. if he has to abuse people to get it, well, then that's what he has to do to get what he wants. he doesn't CARE. and to the rest of us, who do care, this is incomprehensible.
