Yep. It's weird, just last night I was looking back on this one "poem" I got published in a Neopets contest back when I was a tween and cringe-laughing at myself. This is exactly that level of sophistication.

And his prose is so overwrought! I never would have guessed his lyrics would have the exact opposite problem.
