All the "I hope it's what I'm meant to do" about her job and her college applications, like she was waiting for fate (or Andy) to make choices for her, makes me sad.
And the casual mention of "white static" in his head and the assurances that he didn't have to "perform" for her? That sounds to me like he was withholding channeling to try to make it something *she* wanted rather than something he inflicted.
