Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

This. A person disordered enough to hint they may be wearing piss-soaked clothing needs to take care of themselves and their fucking dependent animals before they try to help anyone else. And in Andy's particular case, he needs to give up any notion of "helping" potentially vulnerable people. This reminds me of when he was encouraging depressed young people to call HIM (not a helpline, not a doctor, not community resource center) to deal with their feelings. Now he's in the midst of some kind of mental health crisis, but he wants to use his "spoons" on cosplay activities while animals live in filth? After he already neglected two animals to DEATH?

Fuck that. Has anyone called animal services yet? If not, post me the number and I will.

Andy, if you're reading this, stop using facebook and instagram to virtue signal and clean the fucking litterbox. People who aren't you are not your responsibility. THE CATS IN YOUR HOUSE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

Calling up and just saying some girl in Richmond named Meg is neglecting her cats will probably be a non-starter.

Thank you anon! I was the one who initially posted wanting someone to call. My fear is mainly that, even if I ask to be anonymous, that the voicemail will be saved and I would be recognized.

Andy put his contact info up on his website at andrewblake.crevado.com. I'm wary of directly posting his phone number on Dreamwidth, but it has both his phone number and his student email. Meg's last name is Carlson. (This isn't private information, she voluntarily participated in an interview about Andy where it was published).

It's possible they've since cleaned the litterbox, but I'm hoping Andy's own admission to the state of things will be damning enough. Thank you so much anon. Please keep us posted. And in one tweet he proves how obsessed he is with every word being written here. Point by Point he goes through and whines about how we are being 'mean' to him.

No, he is throwing a temper tantrum because his next move keeps being exposed and he is being called on his bad behavior over and over.

I recall at some point on his Tumblr account he said that he wanted the Internet to keep him honest. Whelp you got what you wished for Andy. Too bad you don't like the exposure.

I have cleaned the litter boxes for a friend who was having a bad time, mental health-wise. Asking is difficult but almost nobody will say no to a chore that takes one minute and would help his cats greatly. Good point, anon.

Just saying, it's even worse than you think. Thirty is absolutely old enough to have learned how to be at least a semi-responsible adult, and he's five years past that. I suspect that's one of the reasons that he primarily hangs around much younger people: while many of them do have their shit together, they're more likely not to notice or to be forgiving when other people don't.

Every time I remember that Andy is the same age as me, my mind is blown afresh.

Part of me wonders if his current mental health isn't partially due to him losing the wunderkind bishounen narrative he's clung to so long. His shtick is going to be a lot harder to sell as a 35 year-old man with a beard. Men that age are held to different social standards than "bishounen" in their twenties.

That, and the fact that no one finds him super-duper-special in the industry he's chosen to work in.

I think that's a major reason, yes. That, and the fact that so many people are watching him, and that he needs to appear stable and reliable as he works to establish himself in his field. But I wouldn't be surprised if this:

eventually frustrates him enough that he slides back into his old ways. Being special is like oxygen to Andy. If he doesn't get it in the industry, he'll get it somewhere else.

Why can I see him ending up work at Unversal Studios repairing the costumes for Harry Potter and claiming he is worked on A secret Harry Potter project?

That is literally my worst nightmare since the UK crowd associated with HP is ... like his wet dream.

We are currently going through a fantasy revival phase with commercial stuff so people done HP themed shops which have quite cool stuff (and architecture).
Unfortunately, half of fans who took it to professional level are Andy's flavour of culty shadiness. Not associated with Universal per say but any other company related such as EA.

It is weirdly strange he never rubbed shoulders with them during his DAYD phase (nor did any of them even read him as far as I know). I do hope the trend lasts as indeed am in this lovely market and the group is a bit easier to deal with than Andy. He probably did not pursue this route as most had maybe assumed it would be over after 7 films and interest would die out.

Would probably name the group if he was not reading comments as they deserve a lot of warnings but ... they do have a very good lure (it took me one glance at website to wish to join as it is with most people) plus destroy people perfectly fine without Andy.

Countdown until he starts claiming we're some sort of evil cabal hellbent on taking "his sons" (the cats) away from him.

I really don't care who takes care of the litter box and feeding the cats, I just want it to happen consistently.

Also Meg is an adult who can make her own decisions good or bad for her life. Casting Andy as Svengali is an easy jump but doesn't make it so. I hope that she takes some time to really look at what Andy is saying about her both publicly and privately and does some research on narcissism and gaslighting. I would have dumped his ass by this point even with all the promises of the 'good life' they will lead and how he will change once they get to California.

He loves twisting things up so much. Claiming that we're picking on him for "letting the box get dirty", like it was a one-off one-night missed cleaning. When he openly stated that his previously litter trained cats were seeing on piles - multiple piles - of clothing, which is a clear sign of animals in distress. Furthermore, he indicated that he was not mentally able to make a change in their care and clearly stated that Megan was physically unable. Therefore, no person in charge of these cats is able to end their distress. Also, no mention of the two animals he previously neglected to death.

There's a lot happening here outside letting the box get dirty.

I'd bet a non-trivial sum of money that Andy will miraculously regain the ability to clean his apartment and the litterbox now that he's been reported to animal welfare authorities.

I would bet Meg is the one cleaning actually

Maybe they were also afraid someone would report them to their landlord, who could make an inspection of the property to be sure it's being kept to the cleanliness standards of the lease.

The "Andystans" comment was a nice touch. It's dismissive and insulting of his friends, and classic Andy manipulation. "Andy would never call his friends Andystans, so surely this anon can't be him!"

Meanwhile, Andy was posting on his tumblr as though he was oh-so-above-it-all, begging for people not to stir up drama, and doing his best to play the reasonable peacemaker.

Point is, Andy has always obsessively followed awareness blogs. He sends them anon mesages pretending to be other people as part of his manipulation. And he always publically denies doing either.

Not to mention the entire finelookingcat fiasco. Even if there is no proof that it was him behind it, he definitely followed it closely, even reaching out to Abbey during that time.
