continued Thatfucker discussion

Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

The rules are vaguely the same as they are over on FFA. Please refrain from being too much of an asshole, making personal attacks, posting identifying information or engaging in transfail.

I'm amazed he'd go so far as to delete the thing, period. For all it's crumminess, "DAYDverse" is his pride & joy and I get the feeling he considers it his life's work.

Add to that his fixation on gathering followers, and that comm going down is a sign that he's really not happy about the information that's coming to light.

I wonder if the DAYDians starting to speak out against him has kind of tainted it for him.

He's seemed to have lost interest in it for a while now -- yeah, it's still his Tumblr header, but the Tumblr is all SPN all the time. I get the feeling he really wanted DAYD to kick off his ~awesome origfic in the sequels, and that just didn't happen.

I haven't seen much on SPN from him in months. I just said the other day he doesn't want to discuss Destiel anymore.

I thought he'd get more into SPN since the new season started up again (I think -- I don't watch it), but I guess he was trying to get into MCU because AoU is coming out?

A few pages back in his tumblr, he said he had said everything he had to say on the subject, and hadn't watched the show in quite a while.

Is it possible he's pulling it because he intends to rework it and publish it as an original work?

If he could, I think he would have. He's probably tried to have it published before and got rejected.
