Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

Obviously, we can only guess, but in my experience: to fill the black hole which is his life because he's unable to care for anyone else. Imagine living a life where other people are not real to you, where you're the only real person in a world filled with soulless androids. Obviously, you can't find satisfaction in relationships with robots. Nothing you do ever matters because there's no other human being to appreciate it. What would you feel? What would you do? I think this really hits the ail on the head, anon. Over and over again AB gives the impression he treats real people and his characters alike. No empathy, were not real to people like him.
