continued Thatfucker discussion

Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

The rules are vaguely the same as they are over on FFA. Please refrain from being too much of an asshole, making personal attacks, posting identifying information or engaging in transfail.

ETA: If there's information you'd like to see archived (journal/blog posts related to Andy, etc.), please dump it here and link to it from the main post for discussing.

Well, she said this:

The zombie thing - him and I had a fight, over Megan and some other shit. I pulled out. I told him I didn’t want any part of it, so he closed down shop. That one wasn’t going to have any role playing at all.

but I don't for a moment believe "That one wasn't going to have any role playing at all." According to all the pre-zombie-thing chatter, it absolutely was going to have role-playing. They were going to be running all around a state park, "killing" zombies, and then they were going to "Camp Chitaqua" for the orgy (giggle, giggle!)

It was awfully coincidental that there was a fight at the same time ffa was discussing with great horror thanfiction's plans for LARPing.

Yeah, from the description I remember him putting out, it sounded like there was going to definitely be role-playing. It's possible she's sticking to a stricter definition here or something.

And it's entirely possible that he intentionally did things he knew would piss off Jenn so that she'd pull out and he could cancel the whole thing and blame it on someone else.

She's either minimizing it for whatever reason or using a strict definition of "larp" because there was this and the "men of letters" party which sounds like it was actually scripted and immersive. I know there's a line between costume parties and larping, but I think in Andy's case the boundary is very porous, like all his boundaries.
