And outside of this meme, I think Delwynmarch does it fairly often, though that is perhaps not a topic for this place, because I don't think he's a frequent visitor around here.

No, Del has *never* challenged Andy's self-ID as male. That's a lie which keeps being repeated, but it has never happened.

What Del has done is point out that Andy's insistence that he is cis is transphobic, since his reasoning seems to rest on the idea that trans men are not "real" men.

I meant "policing" ways you can be trans and extrapolating meaning out of, for example, who Andy (claims) to have told about his gender.

Andy self-IDs as cis, so it's not possible to police his ways of being trans.

This is the irony I was getting at before: even the people defending Andy's right to self-identification don't really consider him him cis.
