Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

The rules are vaguely the same as they are over on FFA. Please refrain from being too much of an asshole, making personal attacks, posting identifying information or engaging in transfail.

I find it funny that Andy is getting all these asks that seem to try to either explain or refute things that have been discussed here. (See Shakespeare/fanfic for a good example)

Kind of sad that this is what he does to make himself feel better for all his high faluting talk about all the stuff he is doing.

I am waiting to see what he is going to casually bring up on his tumblr in answer to something here.

And Andy please oh pretty please stay away from anything owned by the Mouse.

He hasn't addressed the mouse thing at all, and I don't think he will unless someone with a named account sends him an ask about it. He's actually turned off anon, which implies to me he really doesn't want to get the backlash he so richly deserves over forcing animals to live in filth/starve to death/die of thirst.

I think they meant Disney because of his MU interests and his dipping his toe into OUAT

That... actually makes a lot more sense.

i am still surprised he never tried the got/asoiaf fandom. it's very grimdark at times with lots of mythology and world-builing. not to mention it's really popular. i wonder if the fact that grrm is on lj and regularly interacts with fandom scared him away.

Way too many men in that fandom for him. Also it doesn't skew young enough.

I think he and the posse do GoT dinners/cosplay, but not that frequently.

He's dipped his toe in the fandom with the party, saying he'd read the books (and don't think he said he was that impressed), occasional meta about Brienne of Tarth, and reblogging gifsets. The fandom probably skews older than him, is too large/at the height of popularity, has too many men etc. I suspect if his few attempts at meta had generated a decent number of posts he'd have tried harder. There are plenty of us in that fandom also watching out for him to come our way. ;)
