Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

The rules are vaguely the same as they are over on FFA. Please refrain from being too much of an asshole, making personal attacks, posting identifying information or engaging in transfail.

Because it's not particularly exotic to most Americans. It's a lot easier to dazzle people with an English or Oirish accent they haven't been surrounded by for years. I think Abbey mentioned he used to combine an Irish accent with his manipulative bullshit and called *"blarney" in order to charm people.

I also think it's not exotic enough from Andy's perspective. Andy likes to be the specialest of snowflakes, after all. How much sense it makes or how realistic it is has never really factored in.

*Notably, his thanfiction icon on the DAYD community used to be a pic of Seamus with the caption, "I'm not a smartass -- it's blarney!"
