(Anonymous) 2015-05-22 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)I think this is important to note, because from my perspective the "Profound Bond" crowd which produced meta of the sort that wanted canon!Destiel were already viewed as an embarrassing, gullible subgroup of fandom.
I was hugely into the Destiel fandom and never got this sense.
