continued Thatfucker discussion
Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!
The rules are vaguely the same as they are over on FFA. Please refrain from being too much of an asshole, making personal attacks, posting identifying information or engaging in transfail.
ETA: If there's information you'd like to see archived (journal/blog posts related to Andy, etc.), please dump it here and link to it from the main post for discussing.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-17 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)I've been going to Dragoncon since 2003, and the Masquerade is actually pretty amateurish a lot of the time. They don't pre-judge or examine workmanship closely (that's another costume contest entirely, which was created because serious costumers were angry that the Masquerade was kind of a random shitshow, often hosted by a drunk special guest). There are excellent costumes, too, but it wouldn't rock anyone's world to see lame cosplay entered into the Masquerade.
I've seen some really unintentionally funny stuff on the Masquerade broadcast over the years, with conceptually elaborate sketches that totally fall flat, and I would love to see Andy try something like that, for my own amusement.
