continued Thatfucker discussion

Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

The rules are vaguely the same as they are over on FFA. Please refrain from being too much of an asshole, making personal attacks, posting identifying information or engaging in transfail.

ETA: If there's information you'd like to see archived (journal/blog posts related to Andy, etc.), please dump it here and link to it from the main post for discussing.

Right? The theme park I work for is VERY image conscious and is super quick to jump on any kind of dissension in the ranks to that effect, more than your average business. It is very heavily frowned on to publicly blast company-related negativity on social media, and they have people to keep an eye out for that sort of thing.

Funny story, there was a girl in another department at my theme park who wrote a huge long Facebook post about how she was left out in the heat at her post, with no offer of even a water break, which caused her to faint. She said she received little to no concern from her supervisors or medical attention of any kind and was told to keep working.

When it went to investigations (because it's pretty serious to say things like that and can get shift leaders, management, and fellow coworkers in trouble)it got found out through several eyewitnesses that on the day in question, the actual situation was that she said she felt faint and was offered a cup of water and asked if she wanted to go home. I'm pretty sure she was asked to leave after that.

Yeah, BG isn't some shady traveling carnival that pops up overnight in a small town and disappears a week later. It's a forty-year old local institution that frequently wins worldwide awards for its landscaping and roller coasters. They have an image to protect. Even some geese flying into Fabio didn't scratch their public standing.
