Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

So I don't see anywhere if that Croatoan season finale "convention" that cost $100 per person ever happened, or if people ever actually paid. Did it fall through? Any horror stories?

I would go to thanfiction's tumblr itself, but I don't want to give it traffic. Besides, I doubt anything there would be honest anyway.

Yeah, it was cancelled following PSAs detailing why it was probably not a good idea to give thanfiction a bunch of money and then hang out in the woods with him.

iirc it was cancelled because he was running it with Winjennster and her then-husband and he pissed her off enough that she pulled out. I think her ex was part of what made it look legitimate because he's actual military, so not Winjennster and ex-husband, no camp.
