continued Thatfucker discussion

Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

The rules are vaguely the same as they are over on FFA. Please refrain from being too much of an asshole, making personal attacks, posting identifying information or engaging in transfail.

ETA: If there's information you'd like to see archived (journal/blog posts related to Andy, etc.), please dump it here and link to it from the main post for discussing.

Thank you, Virginian! That makes a lot of sense.

No worries. Finding out he lives in Wililamsburg was a bit of a shock to the system because while I'm in the Southwest area (Virginia Tech) I have family in that general vicinity and we go to Busch Gardens every once in a while. Sharing a state with someone like Andy gives me the heebee jeebies. @.@

FWIW it's pretty freaking for me to hear a generic Southern accent like you see in the media. It might be a Georgia or South Carolina thing but it's not in Virginia (at least if you're below 60 and rarely then) and it's not in the areas I've been in in Alabama or Tennessee which both have a really heavy, distinctive twang. I'm not sure I've heard it in North Carolina or Myrtle Beach, SC either. But you also have to remember that these things are very regional so it might just be pockets.
