Since we've been kicked off FFA for the week, please feel free to continue the anon discussion here. Apologies if this is a big flop - I've never made a DW community before!

The rules are vaguely the same as they are over on FFA. Please refrain from being too much of an asshole, making personal attacks, posting identifying information or engaging in transfail.

I think you have me confused with another anon. I have no idea when or if Andy induced other people to attack her - I only know that she was generally mocked, called a wanker, and various other names.

You've also managed to hit on a major pet peeve of mine - expressing concern about something is not "concerning trolling". Concern trolling is when a person, with the sole motive of wanting to stir shit for their own amusement, expresses false concern in order to generate an argument.

That's not what's happening there. I don't even know Luvzcharlie, but it's clear from her own statements she wasn't familiar with FW's policies. All she knew is that people were asking for the release of emails that included CFC's address and the names of her children. She didn't want the innocent parties' information exposed more than it already was, and expressed that.

The "you should be ashamed" was directed at Andy, not FW, which everyone would know if they took to seconds to actually read what she wrote.

You know, I swore I wasn't going to comment here again, but in this case I sort of feel like I have to since I know thanfiction is reading here. So this is to him:

It really upsets me to see ceirdwenfc placed in the middle of this. Her only fault in any of this is that she was a friend to you-- a true friend, something I don't think you've ever had a lot of. You should be ashamed of yourself for putting her in this position.

Also, those emails that everyone is talking about wanting the entirety of-- those contain personal information of a friend that thanfiction and m_oquinn had no business divulging or sharing with anyone. It wasn't their information to share. I would hope the mods would never allow information regarding her address and children to ever appear here.

Yeah, that definitely sounds more like genuine concern, not concern-trolling.

Do you know what it was she said or did that caused the FW community to turn on her, because I'm working my way through the comments on the first "Not quite so triumphant return of Victoria Bitter" FW post and she seems to be joining in without there being any problems, so was just wondering why that changed?

Also does anyone know if there's anywhere you can read the original Fandom Wank posts other than on the Wayback Machine? Many of the comment threads don't appear to have been captured so frustratingly there's a lot of missing material.

The JournalFen server, where FW was hosted, has been down for a very long time. Supposedly there are plans to bring it back one day, but no one knows when/if it will actually happen and the admins haven't posted in the official update forum since last year. In the meantime, the Wayback Machine is all we have.

Also, the "if they took to seconds to actually read what she wrote" is directed at the people who attacked LC on Fandom Wank, not the people here.
