(and hiding some dissenting ones, I think? It looks like he's responding to someone but I can't see what) saying that the Andy blogs, and not Andy"s own behavior, caused him to lose a job ("job") and housing. I assume Andy explained away all the inconsistencies somehow.

Since he's deleted a bunch of other peoples comments, I bet he does. "FAQ", just the facts, for sure.
I bet this is going to end with Chris getting left out to dry just like CFC did a few years ago, or anyone else who's taken up the mantle of coming to Andy's defense/making a big distraction to obfuscate his latest screw-up.

I'm normally in the 'lets not give Andy too much credit for evil puppet-mastery' camp, but this is exhausting and annoying to watch go down in real time. Which is probably the point.

The thing that really grinds my gears is that "Abbey's the only one who ever met him" bullshit, when, as Winnjennster points out, his own wife (at the time) knew him, and has since spoken out about him.

I'm wondering what Andy told him to make him just dismiss the "very productive" conversation Kate had with him? Like... does he just think they're making these incidents up? Why would anyone *do* that, if, as Chris alleges, they liked him until they learned about his past? It doesn't make sense for a group of people to all make up lies about someone, when literally all they would have to say is "we learned about his past and were uncomfortable with him staying" if that really was the truth?

Like, I'm tempted to just straight up ask: do you think they're lying? Are they lying about the needles on the floor, pulling a branch off the tree, making insulting comments about people's bodies?

But I don't know what good it would do to engage.

Does anyone have caps of whoever Adam is and what they said? It's obvious that half the conversation has been removed. And kudos to Jenn. It sucks so bad that she's being sucked into this again.

I didn't get screen caps, but the gist was just-- your goals are suspect here, you can't ask people to stop talking about someone who mistreated them just because it's inconvenient for you, etc. In all the messages I saw, he was skeptical but polite.

Oh my god, he is going about this all the wrong way. This is why Andy needs to see a real live, actual therapist and not force his friends to be his caretakers. (Whatever happened to his team of specialists anyway?)

Because rather than say 'Ok, Andy, let's figure out what happened and how to help you behave better around people in the future.' He's running at Andy's victims and screaming about how they treated HIM instead.

Like no, you cosmically stupid tart. That's not how this works. That's not going to help Andy ever become a better person and learn how to function in social groups without resorting to being an abusive, abrasive asshole. If you're going to take on this exhausting role in Andy's life, do it right.

His screaming for PROOF of Andy's dips hit behavior really feels like a fishing expedition at Andy's behest to find out what they 'have' on him rather than any attempt to see Andy's behavior for what it is.

It might be. But I think it more likely that he's so invested in being Andy's protector that he just doesn't think first.

Actually that's exactly what happens. Andy screams like a child because people find his behavior repugnant and remove him from their social groups.

Chris should, at this point, ask these people politely if they would share their experiences with him to figure out where Andy went wrong. (And back off immediately if people say they really don't want to go into it.)

Instead, he rushes in like a white knight to attack the very people Andy was an asshole to.

Then realizes he's in way over his head and backpedals hard.

Chris, if you're reading this, you aren't trained to handle this kind of thing. Andy needs an actual therapist to help him get better. Your blustery way of handling his detractors is coddling his behavior. Quit it.

It looks like at least one person did share their experience, though, and his response was to say he'd talk to Andy about it and then went right back to blaming the Andy blogs.

I know it's been said before but: if Chris or other Andy stans have sat down and seriously read through Andy's well documented history (i.e. the amazingly thorough Google doc link collation) how could they come the conclusion he's a misrepresented innocent victim?
Has Andy somehow stopped them going online and doing their own digging?

Also, this attempt at manipulating and shutting down the discussion is bugging me:-

It is so gross. Even if literally the worst thing Andy had ever done was what Molly says he did and he had been a perfect angel his entire life aside from that, hell, even if he had done nothing wrong in his life ever, IT'S HER HOME. She doesn't need a reason to kick him out.

It doesn't matter what Andy has or hasn't done at this point. Chris's defending of him and policing of other people's opinions is unpleasant enough as it is.

Weird, I can't see any comments except on the "testimonies" page. The others show a number of comments, but when I click to read them they aren't there. The reason I wonder is, someone called him out on the way he was blaming Abbey for the abuse, and then when I checked back it seemed like all of them were gone.

Anyway, since I thought it was likely to be deleted, I took screencaps (also of Jenn's from earlier).
