Original prediction anon here: Exactly this. He already identifies as "cis" and has lied in the past about his ability to impregnate people, between "his son, a sparrow" and the whole "let me touch you but not have sex because you might get pregnant" thing. It wouldn't be out of character for him to do that again.

Right, and the manosphere is ALSO full of men with "mah woman done me wrong and I lost custody of my kids" sob stories. So if he stuck to a line of "I will never again take a chance on getting a woman pregnant" I bet he could fit right in.
