I seem to remember that prior to her being tragic, tortured fireman Jesse James, Jenna St James of Piece of Fakey fame had been running similar scams pretending to be a famous rock star (whose name now escapes me but there were llamas involved?) in letters *as far back as the 1970s!*
Hell there were even people who claimed to have been on and survived the sinking of the Titanic that didn't. These kind of people have been pulling this crazy shit *forever*!
